Welcome to
Minden Main Street

Minden Main Street has always been the heart of our town, starting with the first business established by founder Charles Veeder in 1835. Over the years, Main Street has evolved, yet it remains the vibrant center of community life in Minden.

Established in 1987, the Minden Main Street program is dedicated to preserving our rich history by fostering economic growth and restoring our cherished historic buildings.

Today, Minden Main Street proudly holds the titles of a Louisiana Main Street Community, a Louisiana Cultural Products District, and a recognized site on the National Register of Historic Places.

Come explore, celebrate, and be part of the story of Minden Main Street!
